Herold,Barb,Donna,Deb,Kevin, the children and all the Family of Kent. We were stunned to hear of the terrible accident that took the life of Kent. No words can possibly convey our sympathy to you all. Kent was a good friend to our son Les Jr. and we all knew him well. As his Scoutmaster of Troop 250,I watched and helped Kent advance through the Ranks of Tenderfoot through Eagle. We all saw him grow from a boy to a young man that we were all very proud of.Time and distance have separated our families, still Kent will always be fondly remembered by the Nyland's. Donna and Family I graduated with Kent and knew Debbie and yourself in High School at Byron Center. Although we do not know each other, we felt compelled to write your family a note. Unfortunately, our family suffered a similar tragedy. Our 4 year old daughter Peyton died on July 2 as the result of our mini-van being rear-ended by a garbage truck. So we just wanted to offer our condolences. Life definitely is not fair but somehow we have to have the strength to continue on. We wish you all the best in your healing process.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Kent selling him automation components through the years of 1998 - 2002. Kent and I considered each other good friends and talked often. Many times he called me to talk about his family. I can remember all of his stories about the boy scout trips he took and how he was there for his son. I can imagine how proud he made his son and the rest of your family. I only hope to immulate him in life and truly appreciate the things he and I had times to reflect on. God Bless.
