
Kent is lovingly remembered by his wife Donna Flora Sweet; his children Mary and David Sweet; his parents Herald and Barbara Sweet; his father-in-law Wayne Flora; his grandmother Lillie M. Hoover; his siblings Debbie Tom Mitchell, Kevin Clara Sweet; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Kent worked at Tric Tool LTD. He was also an Eagle Scout.
A time for relatives and friends to visit with the family will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Byron Center United Methodist Church, 2490 Prescott St. If you are unable to attend the funeral or visitation you may sign the family’s Memory Book online at www.cookfuneralservices.com.
In honor of Kent, contributions may be made to High Pointe Community Church - Kent E. Sweet Memorial- for his son David’s education or Boy Scouts of America Troop 250.
