He was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Dorothy Purcell, as well as his brother-in-law Harry Roelofs.
Kevin (Kip) will be lovingly remembered by his wife Patti; his children Kevin, Charles & Andrew (Carly) Purcell; his sister Kelly (Jim Herblet) Roelofs; and many relatives and friends.
Kip was a long-time Coopersville resident who had a deep love for Coopersville athletics. Along with being an avid hunter, Kip had a love for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish that he picked up from his father and passed along to his three sons.
A gathering to celebrate Kip’s life will be held from 5 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 11 at the Creston Post VFW #3023 at 1535 Monroe Ave., N.W., Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kip’s family looks forward to the happy memories and stories to be shared. God Bless and Go Irish!
