Kimberly Jo Vander Molen (Hayes), age 57, lost her short battle with cancer and went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Winifred Collins and father, Joe Hayes. She will be remembered by her husband, Allen Vander Molen; stepmother, Peggy Hayes; siblings Sandra (Bob) Van Vels, Brian (Susan) Hayes, Greg (Liz) Hayes, and Dan (Carlee) Hayes; brother-in-law, Ed (Kellie) Vander Molen; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Kimberly loved singing in cantatas, traveling with her husband, and people in general.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5-8PM at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A Celebration of Kimberly’s Life will take place at Georgetown Cemetery, 6921 28th Ave., Hudsonville, MI 49426, at 11AM on Friday, August 14, 2020. Pastor Tom Couch will be officiating.
In honor of Kimberly and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Michigan Chapter.
