Kurt A. Gabriel

GABRIEL - Kurt A. Gabriel, age 41 of Jenison, passed away February 3, 2001 and went to be with his Lord. Kurt enjoyed restoring Porsches, attending car shows and skiing. He had a remarkable sense of humor, an incredible love for life, family and music. Mr. Gabriel was preceded in death by grandfathers, Adam Gabriel Papa and Grady Lilly; grandmother Ryll. Mr. Gabriel is survived by one son Matthew; father Joe Carol Gabriel of Jenison; grandmother Irene Lilly Sweetie; one sister Amy Steve Johnson of Grandville; three nieces, Alicia, Caitlin and Danielle, also of Grandville; and extended family, Michelle Jeff Schaumann of Jenison. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Pastor Sean K. Kidd of Kentwood Christian Reformed Church officiating. Interment Salem Township Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home in Jenison. Memorial contributions may be made to the Matthew W. Gabriel Trust and Education Fund.
