Larry Lee Lutz

LUTZ - Mr. Larry Lee Lutz, age 64, went into the loving arms of Jesus after his courageous battle with cancer Sunday, January 21, 2007. Larry was a Teamster Union 406 member and had been retired for one year following 38 years as a warehouse man for Columbian Distribution. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Lutz, and mother-in-law, Catherine Hazen. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Nelda Hazen Lutz; daughters, Angie and Doug Hutchison, and Amanda and Matt Peterson; grandsons, Mitchell Hutchison, Cody and Spencer Peterson; mother, Dorothy Miller Lutz; brother, Bruce and Sandy Lutz, and his nieces. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 AM at Byron Center United Methodist Church, 2490 Prescott, Byron Center, with Rev. Cynthia Greene officiating. Interment will be at Winegar Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Larry’s family Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th SW. His family wishes to thank the kind and compassionate care givers of Faith Hospice and those who remembered them with cards and visits.
