Larry Randall Stallard

STALLARD – Larry Randall Stallard, age 67, of Dorr, MI, was welcomed home into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 29, 2008. He was preceded in death by his son, James.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Carole Laninga Stallard; his children, Cathie Rick Kroll, Barb Doug Helmholdt, Dave Julie Stallard, and Tim Michelle Stallard; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Larry Taylor; brothers and sisters-in-law, Verna Ray Vanden Akker, Arlene John Oosterhouse, Ken Laninga, Shirley Howard Van Swedan, Fred Carol Laninga, and Rich Chantra Laninga; and many nieces, nephews & friends. Larry took great pride in the family business, Stallard Asphalt, that he operated for 25 years, especially being able to work with his children.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Friendship Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Calvin Compagner officiating. Interment will be at Dorr Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the Friendship Christian Reformed Church 190 – 100th SE – Byron Center, MI
