Larry L. Vickers

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nyalo and Dorothy Vickers, and his brother, Ron Vickers.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Elaine Simington Vickers; his children Rick Terri Vickers, and Bonnie Crater; his 8 grandchildren, John, Brad, Aaron, Jessica, Carolyn, Courtney, Taylor, and Branden; siblings, Nyalo Doris Vickers, Jr, Robert Hazel Vickers, Richard Ann Vickers, and Janet Vander Weide; sister-in-law, Helen Vickers; good friend Bonnie Cotey; his pet cat, Charlie; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Larry worked 30 years for Spectrum Health - Blodgett and retired two years ago. After retirement he worked part time at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

The funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel - 4235 Prairie SW - Grandville East building. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday from 4 - 8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home West building.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
