He was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Voetberg, and grandson, Gary “Little G” Cook.
He is survived by wife, Char Wind; children Shelly (Monty) Anderson and Ryan (Sara) Wind; grandchildren Jacob, Alex, Isaac, Katie, and Autumn; siblings Harold (Bernie) Wind, Ken (Bev) Wind, Ron (Mary) Wind), and Pat (Richard) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Byron Center United Methodist Church, 2490 Prescott, S.W., Byron Center, Michigan 49315, with visitation from 12 - 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
