She will be lovingly remembered by her children Jamie, Joe, and Matt; mother, Marilynn; and 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Laura’s passing was preceded by her son, Billy; father, Bob; and grandmother, Muriel.
Laura grew up in Jenison, MI and ultimately settled down in Newaygo, MI. In Newaygo, she raised a family and managed a successful income tax office. Laura’s golden years were spent at her favorite place in the world, Gram Porter’s house – "the pond." She spent many years there enjoying the woods with her children and grandchildren. She will be laid to rest there to watch over her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 with an hour of visitation prior at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville.
