Laurence Henry Larry Martis

MARTIS - Mr. Laurence Henry Larry Martis, age 64 of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, October 21, 1999. He was employed with the Michigan Department of Transportation for 42 years and was a trustee of the Sons & Daughters Club.He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Violet Martis, one son Steven, and one brother Gary. He is survived by his wife Joyce; children, Timothy and Doynette Martis, Mark and Gail Martis, Sandra and Don Hartman, Debra and Ron Wilcox, Vicki and David Pine, Cheryl and Doug VandenBerg; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Gerald and Mary Lou Martis; sister-in-law Bonnie Martis and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held Monday 10 a.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building with Pastor Clayton Smith of Newhall Reformed Church officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Rexton, MI. The family will meet relatives and friends Saturday 7 to 9 and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville.
