Laurie Jo Van Van Dyke

VAN DYKE - Mrs. Laurie Jo Mackus Van Dyke, age 43 of Jenison, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to be reunited with her Grandparents Case and Jo Westrate and Boyd and Hannah Mackus, Saturday, January 1, 2000. Having courageously fought a battle with cancer after a five-year remission. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ronald J. Van Dyke; son Jonathan Blake Van Dyke; daughter Lauren Jo Van Dyke; parents John C. and Jo C. Mackus; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Adie Van Dyke; sisters, Vicki and Reg Stroven, Julie and Dan Holthof; sisters-in-law, Diane and Gary Busscher, Jan and Ron Wiersum; a brother-in-law, Kevin and Bev Van Dyke and a sister-in-law, Nancy and Burk Holtzen; a special Aunt Diane and Bob Allen and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from Fair Haven Ministries with Rev. Gary VanKoevering and Dr. David P. Breen officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Jenison Chapel of Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin Ave., Jenison. Memorials may be made to the Laurie Jo Van Dyke Memorial Fund at Jenison Christian Schools or American Cancer Society.
