Lavon Marie Palmitier

PALMITIER STROUD - Lavon Marie Palmitier, age 70, of Grand Rapids formerly of Grandville, left her life here and passed on to her eternal life to join many family members, friends, and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, December 16, 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Stroud and brother, Les Stroud. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Ron; her children, Terri and Rick Ciosek, Dr. Randy and Audrey Palmitier, and Sue Palmitier; her grandchildren, Ryan Palma, Katie and Emily Ciosek; her sisters, Ardie and Wayne Bannink, Dianne and Del Rector; her brothers-in-law, Dick and Pat, Bob and Charlene, Roger and Bonnie, Russ and Vanessa, Ray and Karen Palmitier.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church 3334 Breton SE. Visitation 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Grandville Chapel of Cook Funeral Home 4235 Prairie-West Building. Monday 12:00 to 12:45 at the church.
