Lawrence J. Orange

ORANGE - Lawrence J. Orange, age 83 of Wyoming, passed away July 17, 2000, and went to be with his Lord. Lawrence was involved in many capacities at the Highland Hills Baptist Church and was a member of the Wyoming Senior Softball League for many years. Mr. Orange also worked for the Roskam/Butternut Baking Companies for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; brothers, Kenneth, Lambert, and Sidney Orange. Lawrence is survived by his sons, Larry Helen Orange of Rockford, MI, Bruce Gayle Orange of Grand Rapids, MI, Thomas Cheryl Orange of Omaha, NE, Timothy Sue Orange of Wyoming, MI. Also surviving are grandchildren, Cheryl Orange, Scott Dawn Orange, Stephen Tena Orange, Wendi Nathan Hillis, Jodi Chris Rysko, Jason Orange, Michelle and Sarah Orange; seven great grandchildren; sister Harriet Visser; sisters-in-law, Winifred John Koster, Albertha Breen, Josephine Orange; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday 10 a.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie St. SW, with Rev. David Lamb and Rev. Gordon Cook of Highland Hills Baptist Church officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home Grandville west building.
