Leatha Belle Collins (Tanner)

Leatha Belle Collins (Tanner), age 93 went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 7, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Collins; parents Clarence and Fern Tanner; sister Laura Tanner.

She will be lovingly missed by her children Laura (Greg) Thompson, Jerry Collins, Sheila (Jay) Morton; grandchildren Travis (Jessica), Chris, Derek, Matt (Hannah), Jeremy, Jaime (John), Jason; great grandchildren Ava and Stella; several cousins and friends.

Leatha was a former President of the Grand Rapids Ostomy Association and active member since 1980. She was an active member of Godwin High School’s “Golden G’s”. She was passionate about her family’s genealogy.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5-8PM on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) – 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Cook Funeral Home (East Building – Memorial Chapel). Pastor Gary Leyendecker will be officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
