Lee Thomas Snyder

SNYDER - Lee Thomas Snyder age 71, passed away at his home Monday, February 19, 2007. Formerly of Ludington, Michigan, Lee graduated from Ludington High School where he was active in many sports including basketball, football and track. He also attended Western Michigan University. Lee served in the U.S. Army and had retired from the railroad after thirty three years. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and will be remembered as a big man with a big heart. He enjoyed his family and friends and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Clarabell Snyder, sister, Evelyn Lessard, and grandson, Adam Visser. Lee will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carolyn Snyder; sisters Shirley Tom Winters, Audrey Perry; children A.J. Mary Visser, Joanne Wally Buesing, Jim Ann Visser and Bruce Visser; grandchildren Todd Visser, Matt Teddi Visser, Aric Kim Visser, Jeff Laurie Buesing, Stacey Buesing, Bobbi Jean Visser, Aaron Visser, Joshua Visser, Jonathan Visser, David Visser and Tara Visser; great grandchildren Sophie Visser, Sebastian Visser, Dirk Visser, Luke Visser, Aleksander Visser, Milla Visser, Lenee Buesing, Eric Buesing, Anna Visser, Ava Visser, Lauren Visser and Jacob Visser.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, 7 p.m., at Cook Funeral Home, Jenison Chapel, 1889 Baldwin St.

Relatives and friends may meet Lee’s family Thursday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service. Those unable to attend the visitation or memorial service may sign the family’s Memory Book at www.cookfuneralservices.com.
