Leland was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce; parents Gresham and Dorothy Ayer; and sister, Kathleen Ayer.
Leland is survived by a daughter, Kim (Andy) Roberts; grandchildren Caroline (Zac) Reeves, Callie (Keith) Meikrantz, Abby and Caleb Roberts; great-grandchildren Zoe and Zeke Reeves, John Andrew Meikrantz; sister-in-law, Judith Varner; one nephew, Dirk (Martha) Varner; and three nieces Jackie (Mark) Waldron, Jill (Frank) Kamuf, Jane (Jesse) McGrew, and their extended families.
Visitation with friends and relatives will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 14, with visitation one hour prior, at Harvest Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 930 52nd Street SW, Wyoming, MI 49509. Rev. Dale Van Dyke will be officiating.
