She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan March 9, 1962 the daughter to Harold and Wilma (Posthuma) Akkerman.
Lenora is survived by her mother, Wilma; her siblings Dan (Deborah) Akkerman, Donna (Daniel) Britten and Delores (Dennis) Howland along with many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
A private family interment has taken place at the Burnips Cemetery with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
