I was very saddened to read of Leon's passing this morning. Leon was a wonderful man and quite possibly, without a doubt, the most trusting, kind-hearted soul I have ever met. It was a priveledge to not only meet him, but to know him and consider him a good friend. I feel for Marion, but I also know through talking to her last summer that her faith in the Lord and the support of her family have prepared her to take on the next chapter in life. I will always hold a special spot in my heart for Ken, Linda, KJ, Angie & Mylia and wish everyone the best during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for the passing of Mr. Landis. When he would come into our shop to order printing, I would really enjoy talking with him. Mr. Landis's wife would be with him sometimes (which I enjoyed her also). Once in a while I would see them at Russ's Restaurant. They would always know you. I have a parrot at my office which most people are scared that COCO would bite them. NOT Mr. Landis. COCO climbed right up on Mr. Landis's arm and didn't want to get off. (and to the contrary, did not bite Mr. Landis) My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. George and the staff of Exactgraphics

We were sorry to hear the news of his passing. What a wonderful, polite man whom we have never heard him say one bad thing about anyone - He always found the "good" in others. About a year ago, they came into the office of the City of Grand Rapids Code Compliance Department and I immediately stepped up to the counter to greet them. They both smiled and asked how I was, then began talking about the weather....or about how his day was going. After he was assisted, he graciously said goodbye and turned around and proceeded to the elevator. While they waited, I heard Marion say to him, "Who was that little charming lady you were talking to?" An he replied, "I don't know, but she looked familiar" which made me chuckle. Words cannot express how saddened we are that grandpa has passed. He was a fighter. An amazing man who touched many lives no matter where he was. He loved everyone especially my grand mother and his family. The love he and my grand mother shared was straight out of a fairy tale. He was always very supportive of his family and had a positive attitude. He was always "ducky quack quack" and used his goofiness to brighten anyone's day. I will never forget our long talks, fishing with him at the cottage, and his overall uplifting spirit. We love you dearly Grandpa. You will always be in our hearts.

Grandpa, 
 It has been a year since we said good bye. You would be so proud of me. I got a new job and I am so happy! Mylia and I also moved into a bigger, better apartment and love it! She is doing so well in school. Reading at a near 5th grade level and is a wonderful student. KJ is engaged to Ashton and we are all so happy for them. It wont be the same without you there. I hope you are still ducky quack quack and smiling down on us. We miss you and love you very much.
