Leroy Lee Van Van Kley

In 1959 Mr. Van Kley started Lee’s Trenching Service.

Lee was involved with the Hudsonville Fair Market 4-H and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl and Jeanette; one brother Floyd. Surviving are his wife of 46 years Rose; three sons, David Kelly Van Kley of Jenison, Dale Dawn Van Kley of Grandville, Kirk Stacey Van Kley of Jamestown; one daughter Karla Berkompas; grandchildren, Michelle, Darin, Russell, Ryan, John, Karmen, Nathan, Cassidy Van Kley; also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Marie Van Kley of Hull, IA, Marian Kuiper of Hudsonville; three brothers-in-law, Mart Sylvia Moermond of Jenison, Al Grace Pals of Hudsonville, Jack Alice VandeWeerd of Rock Valley, IA; several nieces and nephews; special niece Joan Buyert; special friends, Jeff Berkompas, Hazel Short, Ken Mary Holstege, Linda Brandt.

The funeral service will be held Monday 11 a.m. at Hanley Christian Reformed Church 0-372 Jackson, Grandville, MI 49418 with Pastor Dave Jolman officiating.

Interment will me in Floral View Memorial Gardens.

The family will meet with relatives and friends Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hanley Christian Reformed Church Building Fund or Wegener’s Granulomatosis Association PO Box 28660, Kansas City, MO 64188-8660.
