Linda Lee Raymond

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Raymond; her parents Alfred and Ruth Roorda; and her brother, Abram Roorda.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Laura (Jeff) Charon and Kelly (Brian) Salmon; her grandchildren Lindsay (Mike) Sobczak, Jordan (Kevin) Pitcher, Kyle Charon, Zachary Salmon, and Jillian Charon; great-grandchildren Mason, Ryan, Matthew and Tyler; sisters Mary (Dave) Boluyt, Carol (John) Deal, Janice Roorda, and Diane (James) DeMeester; and brother, Kenneth (Teresa) Roorda; sister-in-law, Donna (John) Kiley; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was a Registered Nurse, a proud graduate of Mercy Central Class of 1960, and enjoyed planning and arranging the school’s reunions. She served as a nurse for over 30 years in the Grand Rapids’ area. After their retirement, Linda and Keith traveled the world and spent summers with family at their cottage on the river. Spending time with her grandchildren was one of Linda’s greatest joys.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville, with visitation one hour prior to services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Paws with a Cause or Spectrum Hospice.
