Lisa Marie Ferner

Lisa Marie Ferner, age 63, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Lisa was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Ferner, and parents Donald and Sharon Rose. She will be remembered by her husband, Erik Anderson; daughter, Brandi (Chase) Purdum; stepdaughters Lacey (Scott) Smit, Larissa (Ryan) Mullen, Amy Westcott, Erika Anderson, Jennifer Racine; stepson, Blake Anderson; stepmother, Lily Rose; brothers Doug (Jamie) Rose, David (Michelle) Rose; stepbrother, Mike Dunbar; stepsister, Jennifer Dearth; grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; fur baby, Harley; and dear friends.

Lisa graduated from Wyoming Park High School in 1980 and enjoyed her many roles in life as a CNA, teacher's aide, playground lady, and eventually started Mr. Dad's Remodeling with her late husband Joe. In 2010, she met her second chance at love, Erik. They enjoyed their many joy rides to the lake for sunset picnics and many other "misadventures." Lisa will always be remembered as a woman who told it how it was, whether you wanted to hear it or not. She had an open door policy to be the person you could cry or laugh with. No matter who you were, she would always be your biggest supporter. Through all of her health issues, she showed strength and endurance of which it was hard to be not impressed. She will be lovingly remembered by her friends and family for her unconditional love, her smile, infectious laughter, and her sassiness!

A celebration of Lisa’s life will commence from 2-7 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 1135 W. Superior St., Wayland, MI 49348. In honor of Lisa and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
