He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Elizabeth Herring, and wife, Eleanor.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janice; sister, Marjorie; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
Lloyd was a talented and accomplished mechanical engineer. His enthusiasm for classic cars led him to membership in the West Michigan Old Speckled Hen Car Club and the Michigan Rowdies where he shared his talents with all, and he will be fondly remembered.
Cremation was his wish. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
