
Lois was a charter member of Zion Reformed Church and had been a long time employee of the Jenison Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband H. Jack Hayes; brother Arie Start; and sister Tina Stuyvesant.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Steven J. Hayes of Hudsonville, Michael J.Michelle Hayes of Grandville, and Jeffrey S. Hayes of Atlanta; grandchildren, Lindsey Cliff Bolhouse, Jonathan, Jennifer L., Joshua, Aubrey, Jillian, Jennifer A., and Chad Hayes; brother Clarence Start of Grand Rapids.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Zion Reformed Church, 4457 36th SW, with Rev. Wayne Kiel officiating.
Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may meet Lois' family Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building 4235 Prairie SW.

Contributions in memory of Lois may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
