Born on April 17, 1949 in Grand Rapids, MI, Lorrie was the beloved child of Bernard and Mariam Berrevoets. She graduated from Grand Rapids Christian and went on to Hope College in Holland, and later Western University to achieve her master’s in education.
Loretta dedicated much of her life to her Christian faith, family, and her friends. She would teach children by day in Wyoming and was den mother for Cub Scouts in the evening, and taught Sunday school at Fairhaven Church.
Lorrie is survived by sons Randy (Qun) Dahlke and Michael (Rachel) Dahlke; grandchildren Quintin and Alyx Dahlke, Jude and Phillip Berndtson; sisters Barb (David) Donker, Mary VanderKolk, and Marlys Berrevoets. Lorrie was preceded in death by husband, Gregory Dahlke and brother, Daniel Berrevoets.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that Lorrie’s love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
