

Lou worked as a systems analyst, a corporate financial consultant and accountant in public practice during the course of his long accounting career. Louis M. Tuchman was born in Chicago on November 18, 1940 and grew up in Benton Harbor, Michigan with his parents Nathanial and Florence Tuchman and his sisters. He attended Olivet College.
Survivors include his wife, Yvette, two children from his first marriage, Duke Charles of Napa, Ca. and Nicole Tuchman of Grand Rapids, Mi,; a granddaughter Ajai Tuchman of Grand Rapids; sisters Cheryl (Murray) Bloom of Fairfax, Va. and Patricia Tuchman (Patrick,dec'd) Sullivan of Chicago, Il. Preceded in death by sister Sandra (David) Bolton in 1976.
There will be a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4235 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, in Grand Rapids, Mi on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at Pietro's Italian Restaurant, 2780 Birchcrest SE, Grand Rapids, MI. Visitation at Cook Funeral Home, Tuesday February 18th, 10:00 a.m. (for family), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI. There will be a memorial service in Salt Lake City at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Best Friends Animal Rescue or the University of Michigan, both of which Lou was an avid supporter.
