Lyla M. Erbes

ERBES Mrs. Lyla M. Erbes, age 84, joined her husband, Ray, in heaven Wednesday, July 8, 2008. Early in her life as a bookkeeper, Lyla enjoyed working with numbers and later in life enjoyed needlework and traveling. She loved to sing and was part of church choirs for many years. She was a devoted and generous mother and her family was the most important to her.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Cheryl Erbes, and Doug Cheryle Erbes; grandchildren, Amelia Ken Westphal, and Bradley Erin Cramer-Erbes; great grandchildren, Grace, Olivia, and Ethan; sisters and brother, Verandene Howard Otto, Naomi Farnham, and Arnold Betty Juenke.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Georgetown United Methodist Church 2766 Baldwin, Jenison with Rev. Bill Bills officiating. Her family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book on line at www.cookfuneralservices.com.
