Lyster Emerson Wick Sr., a.k.a. Les, a beloved and cherished individual, passed away November 23, 2025 at the age of 96. Born August 5, 1929, Lyster lived a life marked by faithfulness, hard work, honesty, and a kind-hearted nature.
He is survived by his two children, Darlene and Lyster, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who remember him fondly for his unwavering dedication and love. Lyster will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Lyster was married to Marjory for many years, and will be interred next to her at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with family and friends will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 3655 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with a service commencing at 12 p.m. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.cookcaresgrandville.com in their online guestbook.
