so many great memories of your Mom (Aunt Marge)! A home away from home, always welcoming me in. Inviting me to stay for supper on the breeze way with the family. Allowing me to watch the building of your family dream..a swimming pool! And then sharing that dream with me by the many, many times letting me swim! (note to Pat: the pool was not the reason you were a special friend and cousin, we have many good memories other than swimming) Spending the night and knowing I was in a place where love was. Hearing and seeing Aunt Marge play the piano and sing so beautifully. Letting Pat and I build forts behind the living room couch even though the living room was usually a place where play was not allowed. Aunt Marge even allowed my pet rabbit to spend the night in the basement, although that gave her an aweful fright the next morning when he wasn't in the box. She was so concerned for me. She loved animals (Shadow your dog) and I heard she had others after him. Many jars of home made goodies behind the draped shelves downstairs. And oh how she loved her kids!!!! I could always tell you both were her pride and joy! It was a blessing to see the quiet love between Uncle Seymour and her and not to hear harsh words. I was blessed to have her love and care for me through out my childhood days. All great memories! Thank you! I'll see you in Heaven Aunt Marge. Love Jonie

I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Marge. When I was in elementary school and junior high, cousin Pat would have the best slumber parties and Aunt Marge made the best food. Aunt Marge also threw us the best 8th grade graduation party at her home. I don't know if Pat remembers this , for our 8th grade trip to Lansing, Aunt Marge made Pat and I really cool dresses to wear on that trip. We looked good !! This was a long time ago, but I still remember it. Aunt Marge took the time to sew each of those dresses for us. She took a great interest in our lives and really cared about us. As we grow older we lose touch with those we love, and that is so sad. I miss talking with my cousins, aunts and uncle. But those great memories will be with us forever. With much love, Sally

Thanks to Sikkema family , for being the good neighbors they were for the short time we lived by then . They were always friendly kind family . Mrs would always ask us to come in pool swim , whenever we stuck our head over the fense on those hot summer days. Memories of Rick/ pat sliding on the hill behind clif shoemakers , frogs and polly woggs in the gravel pit . Seymore always the friendly neighbor guy. , sorry seymore for tipping over the tri pod when you were building the pool . Marge was very caring neighbor , and she did make good cookies. Wow what a car seymore got for her 65 Impala convertable White with black top , soooo cool , Jerry King
