She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Masselink. Marilyn is survived by sons William J. and Paul S.; six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was one of six daughters: Joanne Lotterman, Betty Stryker (deceased), Dorothy Noorman (deceased), Melva Mastbergen, and Linda Wykstra.
Marilyn attended Calvin College and graduated from Blodgett School of Medical Technology. She worked in that field for over 30 years. She also volunteered for hospice for several years and led several Bible studies. She loved music and singing in choirs. She was also an avid reader. She enjoyed cottaging with family up north, loved nature, and seeing the hand of God in it.
