January 10, 1928 – November 17, 2020
Marjorie Frances Haynes, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Glenn Haynes; daughter, Cynthia Josephine Haynes; her parents John and Bessie (nee Stewart) Helm and brothers and sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Roger J. (Nancy) Haynes, Robin (Kevin) Magrill, David Haynes, Thomas (Lori) Haynes, Daniel (Amy) Haynes; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.
Marjorie started from humble beginnings. The values that were taught to her, she made sure to teach to her children. These values included: a sound spiritual life of scriptures and prayer, the basic skill set of reading, writing, and math, understanding the value of helping and taking care of others, providing food and shelter, and being a good listener and counselor. Throughout her life, she would provide meals to people in need, including the church bake sale. Through her interactions with the church, she developed many lifelong friendships, including that of Pastor Peter Larsen. The family would like to thank Pastor Larsen and members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for their prayers and support over the years.
Marjorie will be laid to rest at Grandville Cemetery next to Roger. In memory of Marjorie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choosing in her name. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.

Dear Robin and family,
I loved Marjorie! Our time together was at Tuesday morning Bible Study. She greeted me with a smile and a hug. Always a kind and encouraging word. Her mere presence lifted me up. Robin you are so like your mom! I’ll miss her and her gentle nature and will strive to be more like her! She blessed me in ways she did not even know! ❤️🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
