KATERBERG a?" Martin B. Katerberg, age 50, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Katerberg and his father-in-law, William Sutton. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Wendy (Sutton) Katerberg and his special nephews, William and Eric Docsa; his mother, Elizabeth Katerberg; siblings, Gretchen (Dirk) Nyenhuis, Jack (Robin) Katerberg, John (Suzanne) Katerberg, Marie (Mark) Meurer, Tim Katerberg, Randy (Jessica) Katerberg, and Michelle (Todd) Hill; his mother-in-law, Shirley Sutton; in-laws, Steve (Janeen) Docsa, Eric Docsa, and Tony Sutton; many nieces and nephews; and even more close friends. Marty enjoyed a lifelong career in the real estate industry. He touched many lives in his work and his witness. Marty spent countless hours at Carpenter's House Outreach Church where he served as a deacon. Marty would be the one to always do the right thing and have just the right words to share with others.

The funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday at the Fairhaven Ministries, 2900 Baldwin Dr. Jenison, MI with Pastor Larry Haney officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Jenison Chapel of Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin Dr. Jenison.
