
KOSTER - Mr. Marvin L. Koster age 67, of Byron Center, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2000 at his home and went to be with his Lord. He was preceded in death by his first wife Betsy Koster Rynbrandt and sister Anita Berkenpas.
Surviving are his wife Diane Koster; his children, Marvin J. Joe and Liz of Dorr, Deb and Jerry Weber of Dorr, Karen and Randy Houseman of Dorr; stepdaughters, Deb and Bill Jankowiak of Allegan, Dawn Westhouse of Wyoming; nine grandchildren, Angie Russ, Marvin L. Jr., Missy, Lindsey, Justin, Lacey Jo, Heather, Jay, Rebekah; two great grandchildren, Austin and Emily; also surviving two sisters, Themla and Willard Brink, Marilyn and Bill Bolman and brother Jake and Nancy Koster; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Berkenpas, Earl and Judy Terpstra, Duane and JoAnn Terpstra, Lois and John Hazewinkle, Pearl Bush, Nancy and Al Rummelt, Jay and Evie Rynbrandt; many nieces and nephews. Marvin served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Dorr Christian Reformed Church, Dorr, MI. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center.
