Marvin Earl Timmerman

TIMMERMAN Mr. Marvin Earl Timmerman, age 84, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012. Marvin was born September 24, 1927 to Ernest and Marie (Miller) Timmerman. He generously served his country during WWII with the US Navy and was the proud founder and owner of Emco Millwork for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; children, Craig (Diane) Timmerman, Laura (Rick) Lemson, and Karen Timmerman; grandchildren, Eric, Michele (Andy), Bryan (Jennifer), Scott (Mandy), Angela (Todd), and Daintry; eight great grandchildren; his sister, June Alward; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, with Rev. Dr. David Lee Smith officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet Marvin's family Friday from 6:30-9 PM at the Cook Funeral Home (west building) and Saturday from 1 PM until the time of his service.
