DYKHOUSE (BORST) Mary Dykhouse, age 61, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, July 3, 2014, after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Joy (VanderTill) Borst.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Ron Dykhouse; her children, Becky (Brad) Bliek, Andy (Allison) Dykhouse, Katie (Brad) DeVries; her grandchildren, Tyler, Amber, Kody, Mya, Ariana, Caleb, Gabby, Kadence, Nathanael, Hannah and Lydia; her siblings, Mark (Marilyn) Borst, John (Ruth) Borst, James (Joan) Borst, Rachel (Mark) Graveling; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Rob (Pat) Dykhouse, Sandy Dobbs, Shirley (Bob) Ritsema; her special uncle, David VanderTill; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a quiet servant with strong faith. Her surpassing love was for her family. She had a passion for quilting, and greatly enjoyed bird watching, sewing and Tigers Baseball. While the last 18 months of her life were hard, for her family, leukemia will only define how she died, not how she lived.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, July 8, at First Cutlerville Christian Reformed Church, 1425 - 68th St. SW. Rev. Ken Van Wyk will be officiating. In honor of Mary, contributions may be made to Mercy Health - Lack's Cancer Center or Buist Community Assistance Center.
