

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Luce; her parents, Edward and Kathleen Tovey; her brothers, Joseph, Albert, Eugene, Robert, Willis, Paul, Thomas, and Howard Tovey; and her sister, Helen Ashbaugh.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lois Parker, Diane Stanko, David and Marta Luce, Donald Luce; her grandchildren, AJ (Becky) Parker, Anthony (Sarah) Luce, Andrew (Kristi) Luce, Mary Stanko (Katie Johnson), Frank Stanko, Chris Stanko, Nick Stanko; her great-grandchildren, Hannah Luce, Noah Luce, Bennett Parker, Nolan Parker, William Luce; her sisters, Rita (Harold) Loveland, Ann Sams; her brother- and sisters-in-law, Edward Luce, Bonnie Tovey, Lillian Holtof, Marcella Tovey; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a founding member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She was part of the Third Order of St. Francis and regularly went to the Georgetown and Grandville Senior Centers. Mary loved polka and line dancing, and Polish music. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Mary’s family will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St., S.W. (West building), with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. following visitation. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin in Jenison, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. Father Ron Hutchinson will be presiding. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
