Mary Charlene Obetts

Char was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Riordan; one sister, Anne Riordan; two brothers-in-law, Carl and Edward Obetts; two sisters-in-law, Helen and Mary Obetts.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Raymond; children, Kelli Marc Gierz, Pat Deb Obetts, Michelle Michael Fields, Angela Rick Nelson; grandchildren, Danielle and Andy Gierz, Brittany, McKie, Bobby, and Wesley Obetts, Kalieghy and Ryan Fields, Joshua and Kassi-Jo Nelson. Also surviving are five brothers, Joe Sharon Riordan, Terry Eldine Riordan, Jack Janet Riordan, Chuck Rose Riordan, and Rick Paula Riordan; three sisters, Kathleen Wayne Carlson, Barb Bill Fischer, Pat Greg Hardin; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Obetts, Rita Jim Paas, Arlene Obetts; two brothers-in-law, Richard Obetts, Phillip Jackie Obetts; 56 nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 7 from Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St., in Jenison, with Fr. Richard Lawie celebrant.

Entombment at Rosedale Memorial Park.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 8 p.m. on Friday at the Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin St., in Jenison.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
