Mary Julia Pramuka (Shircliff)

PRAMUKA Mary Julia Pramuka (Shircliff) age 77, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, October 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Sr. and Annie Shircliff; brothers William Shircliff and Thomas Shircliff Jr.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Pramuka; children Michael (Tom Woodfill) Pramuka, Ann Pramuka, Susan (Arlo) Clemens, James Pramuka, Steven (Sheri) Pramuka; grandchildren Andrew, Ben, Tommy, Kevin, Adam, Jack, Luke, Gabriella; siblings Helen Scherer, Ann Graham, Caroline Shircliff; sister-in-law Karen McGowan; many nieces and nephews.

Julie graduated from St. Vincent High School in Akron, OH. In every city to which her husband Tom's job took the family, Julie continued her career as an executive secretary, working for Kentwood Public Schools, Mobay Chemical in Pittsburgh, and retiring from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Akron. Family life was very important to Julie, and after she retired she devoted her time to them, especially enjoying her grandchildren, and cooking their favorite meals when they visited. She lived every day with dignity and grace.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Father Chris Rouech officiating. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
