We were so shocked to learn of Mary's passing last night! She was a wonderful lady always with a smile on her face and in her heart. My Dad, Howdy Gietzen, and I worked with Mary at Jet. Many fond memories !

Mrs. Reed was one of the nicest and smartest people I've met. She and my mom, Vicki Deiters, were great friends for decades until my mom's passing. She touched so many lives. We will miss her. Bart Deiters.

Mary, our auxiliary and post misses you so much already. Our Prayers are with you. We sure enjoyed your Mother when she lived and visited Lincoln Arms and when she would come to our exercise classes. She was a lovely women and you can be proud to have had her as your Mom as everyone loved her. She worked hard at the projects at the park and we will miss seeing her at the park picnic in August. Mary, I always felt that you were a second Mom to me and my brothers and sisters. You touched our minds, hearts, and lives in to many loving ways to count.I know my Mom Ginny Mixer as well as the rest of us will never forget you for the loving, kindness we shared with you. Dear cousins & their families, You are all in our thoughts & prayers, what a wonderful lady! I am so lucky to have had Antie Jean in my life. She has always made us all feel so special Reminds me alot of grandma. Her kind words have lifted us so when our family has encountered our own hard times. I was so shocked to hear of your mother's passing! I was on vacation and just heard. I met your mom through my mother-in-law, Joyce Fischer. She was such a warm and wonderful person. I would always visit her at Lincoln Arms. In fact, She let my family stay there one year. You were all blessed to have her in your lives, as was I to know her!! Kelly Fischer

I'm sorry I have no addresses to send cards to so this will have to do. Mary Jean was so very special to us! She came into our family through our brother Dale and although the marriage didn't work out, she was forever our sister-in-law, but more like a sister. She always attended all our family get-togethers and we always looked forward to spending time with her. She is sorely missed! May her example of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,and child of God live on through you, her family.
