He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia Naperola Nelson; their daughters Susanne Nelson and Barbara Nelson; grandchildren Aaron Nelson, Jessica Nelson, Jonathon DeJesus and David Crawford; five great-grandchildren; and his brothers William Wilson, Richard (Sharon) Nelson, Frank (Marilyn) Nelson, and Robert (Helen) Nelson.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin, Jenison, with at time to gather with family one hour prior to the Mass.
