Maxine L. Timmerman

Timmerman - Maxine L. Timmerman, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 6, 2016. She was born November 12, 1923 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Marshall) Kohn.

She is survived by her loving daughter Jeanne (Philip) Sarnicola; her grandchildren Missy (Doug) Olson and Heather (Ryan) Baker and five great-grandchildren Zachary, Claire, Casey, Lucy and Gabe; one son-in-law Kraig Konkle along with many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell; her daughter Cheryl Konkle; her parents; her siblings Irene Barense, Arlene Herman, Roland Kohn, Robert Kohn, and Betty Fehrlen.

A Memorial service for Maxine will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday.

The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Alzheimer’s Association and Senior Neighbors, 678 Front Ave. NW, Suite 205, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
