Melvin Jay Berkompas

BERKOMPAS - Melvin Berkompas, age 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, March 17, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Annette Berkompas and his brother Lloyd Berkompas.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Berkompas Natte; his children Gary & Maureen Berkompas, Michelle & Randy Woodwyk; his grandchildren Zachary and Justin Woodwyk; and his sister Marjorie Orville Boerman.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Melvin’s family will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW west building. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building.
