

Menno Feenstra, age 90, went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Alice Feenstra; his son, Menno Feenstra Jr. and his grandson, Riley Spoelman.
Menno immigrated to the US, from The Netherlands in 1951, with his wife, Alice and two children. He worked as a produce farmer and later as a truck driver for Keebler where he retired in 1986, after 25 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jack (Merdal) Feenstra, Frank Henny) Feenstra, Helen (Dean) Eisentrager, Diahanne (Tim) Kalota, Ernie Feenstra, Donna Spoelman, Charlene Sperling; his daughter-in-law, Joan Feenstra (Menno Jr., deceased); his 24 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and counting!; and his sister, Akke VanderPloeg, who lives in The Netherlands; his sisters-in-law, Anne Haaksma and Betty Vriend.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 a?" 84th St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday at Byron Center First Christian Reformed Church, 2450 84th St. SW. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery.
