Merle Vander Veen

VANDER VEEN LOOMAN - Merle Vander Veen, age 84, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Christmas Day, December 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rod Vander Veen and her daughter, Joan Snooks Vander Veen.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joyce Ken Smith, Nick Barb Vander Veen, Gary Deb Vander Veen, Dan Vander Veen, Pam Scott Segard, Marcia Mike Lemson, Skip Vander Veen, Karen Tim Zuidema, and Rob Jennifer Vander Veen; and her 30 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family wishes to give a special thank-you to Uncle Bill for all his loving care and support.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel-4235 Prairie SW-Grandville East building.
