ADD A MEMORY
Carol Sartorius

October 12, 2021

As a kid growing up in Michigan, I will always remember my dad’s (Pat) older brother Uncle Mike as the jovial guy that greeting and entertained us during visits to the Sartorius residence in Detroit, “up North”, and down state family gatherings. After I graduated from UM I made one last trip up North with my first dog-child to visit the north Sartorius’s and say farewell – I was always inspired by Uncle Mike’s garden and think of him to this day as I zealously attend mine.
I made a choice to move west to Colorado after college which has left less time with beloved Michigan family but I have cherished the occasional visits we have had in both Michigan and Colorado.
I treasure the memories with my beloved Sartorius clan including my Aunt Jan who has been a constant beacon of light and communication and multiple cousins whom I look forward with our bonded journey through this life.
Rest in Peace,
Niece Carol Sartorius
