She was preceded in death by her husband William Suydam; parents Frank Myers, Edward and Myrtle Geddes.
She will be lovingly missed by her children William (Joanne) Suydam, Mary (David) Soper and Maria Suydam; grandchildren Mark (Megan), Joey, Jessica (Rickard). Flora May, David Jr., Patricia,; great-grandchildren Brantley, Jaesek, Jacob, Ashley; sister Elsie (Ben) Simion; brother Edward (Jean) Geddes; sisters-in-law Elsie Forgan, Esther (Bill) Deamer, Beth Suydam; brother-in-law Paul (Charlotte) Suydam; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Originally from New Jersey, Mildred moved to Florida and then settled in Michigan. She was a warm-hearted woman who in addition to raising her own children, had provided a home for several foster children. Mildred will be missed by her family and friends.
A private service celebrating Mildred’s life has already taken place.
In honor or Mildred and in lieu of flowers, the family would welcome contributions for final expenses be made out to William Suydam Jr.
