

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jane Baar and father and mother in law
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Randy; her children Patricia Lee McGuire VerStrat and Michael Candy VerStrat; her grandchildren; Shaughn McGuire; Nathan, Aidan and Zoe VerStrat; her sister Bonnie Harold Kloosterman; sisters-in law and brothers-in law, Caroline Dr. Robert Puite, Willard J. VerStrat, Roger Elsie VerStrat; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy retired from Steelcase after 20 years in the human resources department; she also served as a pastoral elder at Woodhaven Reformed Church.
Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Woodhaven Reformed Church, with Pastor Steve Petroelje and Dr. Cecil Martens officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St.
