Norma Johnson (Groeneveld), age 82 formerly of Belmont, went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 6, 2021. Her husbands Robert Groeneveld and Ron Johnson; and stepdaughter, Paula Johnson, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Ron (Tami) Groeneveld, Cindy (Tom) Sharpe, Don (Kim) Groeneveld, Colleen (Jim) Barcheski, Nora (Bruce) Choi; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Dale (Ruth) Wentzloff; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Norma loved spending time with family - especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had many fun times at Leisure Village Mobile Park with her neighbors and friends. She enjoyed her time working for Meals on Wheels. She faithfully visited her sister, Marian, through their many difficult times. Norma was a Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed watching and listening to the games. A time to visit with the family will be held from 2-3 p.m. with a service at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville. Norma was one of my clients through ComforCare. It was a pleasure working with her, she was such a sweetheart. I know her family will truly miss her, as do I. I stopped working for her a while back, but for some reason her name just came to my mind this morning and I looked her up on Google and found the sadness. I know she is in a good place now with our father, the almighty Lord, his arms around her and she is with her other family. God bless you guys and I’m truly sorry for your loss.

Too many memories to pick just one I will just say I will miss her forever but am overjoyed that she is now spending eternity enjoying the beauty of Heaven in the presence of our Loving God.
