Pamela S. Backes

Pamela Sue Backes, age 69, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Pam was preceded in death by her parents George and Donna Backes. She will be remembered by her children Stephanie (Kevin) Schultz and Thomas (Jamie) Bauer; grandchildren Jaycie, Alison, and Molly Schultz, Britney (Adam) Flynn and Aslyn Brandt; great-grandchildren Finnick and Wellesley Flynn; siblings Vicki Backes, Sande (Phil) Foster, and Mike (Nancy) Backes; many other family and friends.

Pam grew up in Alma, Michigan, and received her bachelor's degree from Alma College. She then went on to get her master’s degree from Michigan State University. Pam spent most of her career at Keene State College in New Hampshire, where she worked as a career counselor. She enjoyed traveling, both locally in New England and in Europe. She also enjoyed playing golf, reading, and doing needlework.
