

He was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Kenneth Bogardus.
Paul is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara; children Paul (Susan) Bogardus III, Michael (Sharon) Bogardus and Jeffrey (Molly) Bogardus; grandchildren Jodee, Beth, Jana, April, Todd, Cam, Drew, and Gavin; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, Richard (Joyce) Bogardus; sisters Audrey (R.V.) McHenry, Madeline Chrystler, Andrea (Rich) Vickers, and Lorraine Marsh; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Paul was a coach for youth bowling and Grandville Little League for over 45 years. He was also a “champion” horseshoe pitcher at state and world levels and a dedicated member of the Grandville Horseshoe Club.
He proudly served his country in the National Guard.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Sunday December 9, 2018 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 10, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building) with visitation from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to service. Pastor Phillip Schout will officiate.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Paul, memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Hospice.
