
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Katie Robinson.
Surviving is his wife Jennie, who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease.
Until his illness he was her full-time, loving caregiver.
Also surviving are his children, Judy and John Randall, Becky and Gary Knapp, Debby and Bob Robinson, Nancy and Guy Nyhuis, and Dave Duran; daughter-in-law Laura Pates; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his brothers-in-law, David and Helen Akens, Daniel and Martha Akens.
The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Grandville Baptist Church with Dr. Terry D. Burlingame officiating.
Interment Georgetown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bibles International or the National Parkinson’s Foundation.
Visitation 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday at the church.
